Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Good ideas for a pack roleplay plot? Post 'em here! Suggestions are welcomed. (:
Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Well. I would like (If you allow) Suggest some ideas here:
- Well, we could have a territory (like rivers, dens, etc...)
- Seasons (Winter, Spring, Autumn and Summer) It would be cool ^^

Plot eh...
Well maybe the plot could be, the pack has just moved to this territory and they find its a perfect place to stay. But maybe some hidden dangers (bears maybe...)
Oh and a location suggestion.
African Savannah, maybe some funky river and pond set ups, and 3 caves scattered around that act as dens.

Do wolves even live in the Savannah? xD
I agree with Dostluk, with the idea of having seasons + territory.
Possibly we could of moved to the a new territory from a traumatic event? (Dunno what the event could be. We can use our creativity to make one up? xD)
Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Well, I was thinking about that, here, in the forum, we could have ranks with different colors for:
The ASPIRING
The INSPIRING
The IMPRESSIONISTS
The INSPIRED
The SKETCHERS
It would be cool!

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
I like the idea of having to leave the territory to seek new grounds due to some form of trauma - perhaps something like a flash flood or a kind of natural disaster.^^"
The idea of having weather sounds good too - it will help set the atmosphere, plus it will keep everyone on the same page (it could be a little confusing if someone is roleplaying in the snow whilst the other is sunbathing xD). In addition, I think making a map of the territory would be useful.

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
I agree; having a map and a type of "clock" which shows current weather and time would be very useful. :3
I was thinking that perhaps the type of territory could be a mountain forest setting; rather like the forum background. It could have some thick forest, some mountain plains, a river and maybe a waterfall, hills, etc. A perfect Yellowstone scene. Maybe we could also list the types of animals that live there (e.g.; Prey: Elk, hare, mice, squirrels... - Predators: Grizzlies, cougars, hawks...). Of course, different ages and types of wolves would have to roleplay specifically (e.g.; pups cannot hunt large animals but can hunt smaller prey like mice for training; the pack would have to protect them from predators). Some of these things are common pack roleplay, but it does help those familiar to such pack roleplay feel at home, and we can always change things to fit the Free Spirits.
I like the plot of the pack moving from an older territory (one of the others' suggestions could work as an older territory, or we could think of a generic one) due to a natural disaster such as a flood or fire. Future plots that the pack will eventually roleplay randomly could be a nice thing to think of, too; perhaps the pack will randomly find an intruder pack to the territory, have a fight with predators, have a ceremony, a pack member gets injured/lost/etc, etc. A season time would be great too, since (as mentioned) each roleplayer needs to know what's going on around them. ^^

I think a clock would kind of be a bit of a bother, considering everyone lives in different timezones. So when its day for someone it could be night for someone else. Also RP days could last a lot longer (as i've known to be on the same RP day for 4 real days once), I don't think it would be easy to cram a days worth of RP into one day, some people might be away etc ^^.
I think having a map and weather etc might be a good idea. Nice ideas Silvie c:
Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Well, what I meant was that the clock only serves for the time in roleplay, not any real time. That way it's the same time for all roleplayers in the same area, in roleplay. =3

Ah I see. So mabye this "clock" is not exactly accurate timing? Possibly like one day it will be "afternoon" then "Evening", "Night" "Dawn" etc. I think that might work out well ^^.

I was thinking about having UotM (User of the month) Here. ^^

Yes, sort of. :]
Here are a few roleplay plots which I thought of:
- -The pack discovers a lone wolf (or a small pack) on or near the territory
-A pack member gets lost or injured
-A natural disaster occurs and the pack must move; this could be the start of our roleplay before we move to the new area. :3
Why are they all disasters? I don't know, they make things more exciting. x3

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
I think all of those are great ideas; it will make a great and dramatic introduction in the roleplay.^^" At the moment my favourite idea is the thought of having a natural disaster which results in the pack having to move to a new territory.Silvie wrote:Yes, sort of. :]

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Yep. Hopefully we can get the pack RP going soon. :3
I was thinking that our territory could be something like this:
I was thinking that our territory could be something like this:
A wide land with rolling fields, forests, and a bubbling river. It's often warm here, by the mountains, but the higher you go, the more breezes; it's a perfect place to sunbathe and such. Although grizzlies are abundant, so are the elk, making the competition for food equal. Wolves must make advantage of the open fields, the dark forests, and the cold, fast river to in turn make the most out of life and survive in this open wilderness.

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Those ideas sound fantastic Silvie.
I like the description it sounds good. It would be a good enviroment to RP with. I agree with Atropine with the Natural disaster as a reason to move, it sound exciting ^^.

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
It would be cool to have contests, with some reward. What reward I don't know.
Sorry if someone had already post this.

You mean like RP contests?
They would be quite fun, mabye there doesn't have to be a reward C: Though I don't know what kind of contests you could hold in an RP xD.
Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Yes. xD Like monthly races (in WQ game, in a private game, RPing, sure) to give a reward of the "most faster wolf of the month (MFWotM)" Hahha. Would be fun.

Sounds great!
Perhaps 2 hunting teams (If we can get an In-game contest going) and whichever team kills the most elk in say 30mins wins! ^^.
Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
Sounds really great! ^^ But how? Like, we have got to have 4 members at least to make two teams of two, and a wolf to see which team has won. ^^

Re: Pack Roleplay Plot Suggestions
I like that idea with the team of 2. I think two wolves would be a good amount in each team ^^.
So for RP or in-game contests there is -
A race. (that could be plotted out if in game with the map of either Slough Creek or AM)
Elk Hunting competition.
Mabye a hunting competition (This would not be in teams) and whoever can kill the most, coyotes + hares + elk will could get a title like Hunter of the Month.
